Kuby has a few thoughts on Hillary's great concession speech, plus we have lots of clips for you. What's next for Hill – VP? Governor of NY? Something else? John Nichols, Washington Correspondent for The Nation will weigh in on that. Here's his latest piece, well worth a read.

40 years ago today Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles after winning the California primary. He was charging towards the Democratic party’s nomination for president after a series of primary wins. Hal welcomes Thurston Clarke to the show in HOUR ONE. Clarke is a writer and historian best known for general interest non-fiction, although he has also written one work of fiction. Thurston Clarke is the author of ten books of nonfiction and fiction. One recent work is Ask Not. The Inauguration of John F. Kennedy and the Speech that Changed America. Hal and Thurston Clarke will be discussing the Kennedy family and how their misfortunes throughout history have changed the way we look at current elections and candidates.

Back for his 3^rd day as guest host of American Afternoon on Air America, Hal Sparks has quite a bit to talk about today. After yesterday’s primaries and super delegate shift, Obama has claimed the Democratic nomination for president. What is his next move? How will he go up against John McCain? Will he pick Hillary Clinton as his VP? All these questions will be answered by Richard Wolffe from Newsweek and MSNBC. Wolffe will join Hal in HOUR ONE. Wolffe is Newsweek’s Senior White House Correspondent. Wolffe is an MSNBC political analyst, and appears frequently on Countdown with Keith Olbermann. He has previously appeared regularly on CNN and Fox News, as well as international media including the BBC and CBC.

Joining Hal in HOUR TWO will be Florida Congressman Robert Wexler. Congressman Wexler will be talking about why Hillary Clinton has not bailed out of the race yet and what her new strategy might be.

Hal Sparks returns for his 2^nd day on American Afternoon. There are 2 primaries left, Montana and South Dakota. Could they finally decide the Democratic nominee? Chris Cillizza, from the Washington Post, will join Hal in HOUR ONE to talk about the primaries and what he thinks the outcome will be.

Joining Hal in HOUR TWO will be Cliff Schecter. Schecter is a veteran campaign strategist and political commentator. The topic of discussion will be what is next for both Obama and Clinton and can either of them take on John McCain, and win.

Leyner employs an intense and unconventional style in his works of fiction. His stories are generally humorous and absurd. At the sentence level, Leyner uses sprawling imagery and an extravagant vocabulary, bordering on prose poetry. He is credited with co-authoring the screenplay of War, Inc.

Maron is back for another interesting day of talk radio on Air America. Former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan continues to top the news with his tell-all book. So, it’s the White House v McClellan in a knock-down, drag out fight. Our Under The Big Top circus parade will focus on both sides he said she said.

Joining Maron is HOUR TWO to talk Tech issues will be Alissa Cooper. Cooper is the Chief Computer Scientist at the Center for Democracy and Technology. Her work focuses on a range of issues including consumer privacy, spyware, digital copyright, network neutrality, and identity management. She conducts research into the inner workings of common and emerging Internet technologies, and seeks to explain complex technical concepts in understandable terms. She has appeared before the Federal Trade Commission and the National Association of Attorneys General, and writes regularly on a variety of technology policy topics. Alissa moved to the Washington area after completing her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science at Stanford University. There her work focused on computer security issues and their policy implications.

Air America Radio welcomes back Marc Maron as guest host on American Afternoon. Marc Maron is a standup comic, actor, and writer who has appeared in countless clubs, in film, and off-Broadway and is the author of The Jerusalem Syndrome (based on his one-man show). After co-hosting "Morning Sedition" on Air America Radio, he was back on the airwaves in the evenings from Los Angles with the “Marc Maron Show” for a few months until that was taken away. Currently Maron is developing a pilot with HBO. Marc has appeared on just about every TV show that will allow comics, from The Late Show with David Letterman to Late Night with Conan O'Brien, where he is a special favorite.

Joining Maron is HOUR ONE will be Robert McElvaine talking on the cultural implications of a recession. McElvaine’s latest book, Grand Theft Jesus: The Hijacking of Religion in America, a passionate rejoinder to the purveyors of what he calls “Christianity Lite,” is being published by Crown in March 2008. He is currently completing a book on America in the 1960s, Oh Freedom! which is under contract with Norton, and a novel.

Air America Radio welcomes David Bender today from 3-6pm et. David Bender is the host of Air America Radio’s “Politically Direct.” Previously he’s been the co-host of Ring of Fire with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Mike Papantonio and, most recently, was Rachel Maddow’s “political guru” on The Rachel Maddow Show. Bender's four-decade career as a political activist began at the tender age of twelve when he took a "leave of absence" from the seventh grade to become a full-time volunteer in the presidential campaign of Senator Robert F. Kennedy. He was present on June 4, 1968 when Kennedy was assassinated at the Ambassador Hotel shortly after claiming victory in the California primary. Bender is also the author or co-author of four books, including "Stand and Be Counted," a chronicle of artist activism in the music industry written with musician David Crosby.

Barack Obama moved a bit closer to wrapping up the nomination as he is less than 70 delegates away. Hillary Clinton is vowing to push on and possibly take the fight to the convention in August. Barack Obama continues to focus on the general election and taking on John McCain. Obama also seems to be having a bit of an issue with certain communities. Ari Berman, from The Nation, will join Ron Kuby in HOUR ONE to talk about it.

Kicking off HOUR TWO will be guest Taylor Marsh. Taylor Marsh is a Clinton supporter who maintains the major blog site for Clinton fans and expert analysis on all election-year topics, including the results of the ongoing Presidential primaries.

Also joining Ron in HOUR TWO will be David Wilhelm. Wilhelm is a political operative and businessman. Wilhelm is best known for managing campaigns for President Bill Clinton, Senator Paul Simon, Senator Joe Biden, Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich and Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley. Wilhelm is a 2008 super delegate to the Democratic National Convention. He is supporting Barack Obama's candidacy and is informally advising the Obama campaign. Wilhelm is a venture capitalist who focuses on spurring sustainable economic growth in areas that tend not to receive much investment.

Closing out today’s show will be guest Daniel Lazare. Lazare is the author of, most recently, The Velvet Coup: The Constitution, the Supreme Court, and the Decline of American Democracy. He is currently at work on a book about the politics of Christianity, Judaism and Islam for Pantheon. Lazare has written for the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Village Voice, Harper's, Dissent, Le Monde diplomatique, and New Left Review. He is the author of The Frozen Republic and America's Undeclared War.

It was splitsville last night after the Kentucky and Oregon primaries. Hillary Clinton took Kentucky by a wide margin and Barack Obama took Oregon. In doing so, Obama gained the majority of the delegates though he did not surpass the 2026 needed to gain the nomination. Chris Cillizza, from The Washington Post, will join Ron in HOUR ONE to talk about the options. During his four years at the paper, he reported on campaign politics from the presidential to the congressional level. Chris covered governor's races and southern House races at the Cook Political Report and wrote a column on politics for Congress Daily. His freelance work has appeared in a variety of publications including the Atlantic Monthly, Washingtonian and Slate. He has also been a guest on CNN, Fox News Channel and MSNBC. He currently writes “The Fix” in the political section of The Washington Post. Chris will be followed by Iowa Democratic Party Chair Scott Brennan who just came out this week to endorse Barack Obama.

Joining Air America this week will be guest host Ron Kuby. Kuby is a criminal defense and civil rights lawyer. Kuby co-hosted (with Curtis Sliwa) the popular Curtis and Kuby in the Morning radio program that aired on weekdays in New York City. He is also a frequent pundit and substitute anchor on Court TV.

Ron will touch on a number of different issues today including talking with guest Samantha Power in HOUR ONE. Power is a journalist, writer, and academic. She is currently affiliated with the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. Power has been a winner of the Pulitzer Prize and was a senior adviser to Barack Obama until resigning for controversial remarks she made about Hillary Clinton.

Ron Reagan is back for yet another day as guest host on Air America’s American Afternoon. John Edwards has thrown his hat into the Obama ring with his endorsement yesterday. Richard Wolffe, who is a senior White House correspondent for Newsweek Magazine and a contributor on MSNBC will join Ron in HOUR ONE to talk about what this means to the Obama camp. Wolffe has also been following the Obama campaign every step of the way during his campaign and will shed some light on whether Obama is thinking about taking Hillary Clinton on as his VP running mate.

In HOUR TWO, Ron will be joined by Ted Nordhaus. Ted is an author, researcher, and political strategist. He is co-author of Break Through and "The Death of Environmentalism." Over the last twenty years, Ted has run major campaigns and initiatives for a large assortment of environmental and progressive political causes including the Public Interest Research Groups (PIRGs), the Sierra Club, Environmental Defense, and Clean Water Action. He also served as the Campaign Director for Share the Water, a coalition of environmentalists, fishermen, farmers, and urban water agencies advocating reform of federal water policies in California, Executive Director of the Headwaters Sanctuary Project, and as a partner and political strategist with Next Generation and Evans/McDonough strategy and research firms serving political campaigns and environmental organizations. Ted holds a B.A. in history from the University of California.

A New York attorney known for his work in emerging markets and international law, especially human rights law and the law of armed conflict, Horton lectures at Columbia Law School. A life-long human rights advocate, Scott served as counsel to Andrei Sakharov and Elena Bonner, among other activists in the former Soviet Union. He is a co-founder of the American University in Central Asia, and has been involved in some of the most significant foreign investment projects in the Central Eurasian region. Scott recently led a number of studies of abuse issues associated with the conduct of the war on terror for the New York City Bar Association, where he has chaired several committees, including, most recently, the Committee on International Law. Horton will be on today’s show talking torture and abuse of power with Ron Reagan.

Sands is a British Queen's Counsel at Matrix Chambers, and is Professor of International law at University College London. Joining Roseanne in HOUR ONE will be Mary Curtis and Glen Ford. Mary Curtis is an award-winning columnist for The Charlotte Observer and Glen Ford is the executive editor of the Black Agenda Report. Both will be on talking about the effect Rev. Wright is having on the Obama campaign.

Joining Roseanne and Johnny in HOUR TWO will be John Waters. John Waters is a filmmaker, actor, writer, personality, visual artist and art collector, who rose to fame in the early 1970s for his transgressive cult films. He had a major mainstream hit in 1988 with the movie "Hairspray" starring Divine and introducing Ricki Lake. "Hairspray" was adapted to a long running Broadway play, which itself was adapted to a hit musical film. He is recognizable by his trademark pencil-thin moustache.
