New York City is blessed to have an incredible journalist named Gabe Pressman around ... and he's been around a long time. When I worked in City Hall (for then City Council President Andrew Stein), Pressman mentioned to me once how he climbed over a fence to get into Gracie Mansion (where New York's Mayors reside) for an event from which he had been barred. I had to laugh, but I believed him. Gabe is a classic example of the old-school newspaper reporter, though he has made his mark on New York politics through local television programming as well.
When I saw him here in Denver this morning, I had to interview the interviewer -- if only so I could say I did it ...
