The Denver Adventure: Day 5 - Anticipation - Rep. Charles Rangel (NY)

Listen: Chris Owens interviews Rep. Charles Rangel (NY)
August 28, 2008
Who doesn't know Charlie Rangel? He's now the most powerful Black member of Congress - Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee. If a Democrat wins the White House, Rangel's life gets much easier -- and he knows it. He's also the second most senior member of the Congressional Black Caucus and the Dean of New York State's Congressional Delegation -- making him a strong Clinton backer. (Rangel was instrumental in getting Hillary to run for the U.S. Senate back in 2000.)
Everyone interviews Charlie, so there's not much new to discuss with him that others haven't covered. But I have not had my chance to ask him about Obama, so I grabbed him after breakfast (as if anyone "grabs" Charlie ...) and asked him two questions.
