No Surpise
It seems that Americans and AAR members pretty much follow what the hear in the main stream corporate media.
That's why it's so important for AAR to grow and politicians to build their own media outlets where they control program content which will allow the people that are actually formulating policy to send an unfiltered message directly to the american public.
Public election funding should go to building this media outlet for political parties and not to the candidates where they seems to waste financial resources on ineffective advisors like Mark Penn and silly 30 second ads that seem to be much more effective enriching the self serving corporate media rather than to informing the voting public on issues that matter to them.

This question seems quite silly.
When asked in the fall of 2007 Hillary was leading Obama by 20 points.
I hope the clintons are not falling in love with this poll or similar nation poll results.
I bet even money, that Hillary will not get the democratic nomination in 2012 unless she runs as an independent.
May bet would be any democratic candidate that the media loves and will turn on during the general election.
If Obama loose this election, the dems will take many years to recover and so will the nation.

4 more years of Neo-Con wars and destruction of the middle class, plus new enemies big and small, will give the ultra-right their long sought martial law. But the country will be so in debt that China will just foreclose on it, denying the neo-cons of that goal.
