A small word of advice

Download the following visual aid and tape to your (or your community) TVs while watching...I guarantee it will make sense...

Bite me, Homebaby

You and your sock puppet can just go suck McCain's wrinkled little nutsack. The Dems had a huge success this week. There were no riots because you fucking crackers were all too fat, too poor or too cowardly to go to Denver. And tonight, Barack Obama is going to blow everyone out of the water.

Can't take it, can ya bebe? But it's OK. I'm sure you can find a rerun of "The Torkelsons" someplace.

Downloading the visual aid would require clicking the link.
And nobody clicks your silly little links, asshat.

I'm gonna go ahead and make the correction Keith made the other day:

Hey what's the big idea with Greek or Roman columns

They're totally unoriginal. They look just like the ones in Denver's Civic Center Park. You know the ones between the arrogant Governor's office where the legislature sits and across from where the elitist Mayor has his office in building with the Judges. You know the one with anti-Christian liberal Christmas lights on it every winter solstice.

Ask Brittany Spears' stage

Ask Brittany Spears' stage designer, that's who Oblahma hired to design the stage for his coronation. Now that is too funny to make up!

He should have went with

He should have went with Madonna's stage designer. He could have used the same stage all of his followers spoke on, but I guess that one wasn't majestic enough.

I'm really looking forward to rubbing Barrack "Hollywood" Oblahma's humiliating defeat in your noses. Me and hufflarry are gonna have a good laugh.

Your neocon masters are seriously in trouble and you know it. That's why you 'tards have mostly stayed away today and relied on DOS attacks.

In fact, why don't you just not vote? No use anyway, since the LIBERAL MEDIA is against you. Go on, Pissant, I mean Froggy. Stay home and jerk off to "Hannah Montana."

Indicatively it is another meaningless anecdote from you. If it is true.

Again I say, you are a fraud.

Good.

Maybe Obama will look several pounds heavier. He needs some meat on those bones.

Dear God,

Please validate the racism that The Old Testament of The Bible accuses you of and make it rain in biblical proportions on the black guy and the Democrats, when he accepts the first minority nomination by a major political party for President of the United States on the anniversary of Martin Luther King's speech.

security, keep your ground-to-air missle launchers on the little piper cubs

So far at this convention

I've mostly enjoyed listening to the average person speak the most. I don't see things in black and white. Almost every politician at the convention makes me groan from time to time during their speeches. But I also am aware of many of their good qualities. The average person I know nothing about so I can just listen.

This union representative just spoke of jobs being sent overseas. I can't help but remember the great sucking sound brought about by leaders of both parties by enacting NAFTA. But that is really the corporate party which transcends both parties. We need to take back the democratic party from the corporations.

On the bright side there was an article in The Hill that reported lobbyists have much less of a role at this convention. many didn't attend this one. And they say it is Obama's policy on how the convention would be run that caused this.

I'm not sure if this positive step is because Obama feels so strongly about getting rid of lobbyists or if he is responding to the public pressure of the awakening citizens. Either way it is a good sign.

Ironically,

The union leader was speaking at the convention of the party that passed NAFTA, just the day following another Slick Willy swoon session, though he was the president that advocated for and signed NAFTA.

It is sickening to see the Democrats continue to bow down to the dude that republicanized their party.

I agree this is a step in the right direction. Let's hope Obama governs similarly.

By AntillectualAugust 28, 2008 - 9:40pm

I really can't wait for this election to be over. I feel like there is an unwritten rule that we should all play dumb and pretend the democratic party is shiny and perfect. I feel I can support Obama and an increase in leadership of congress for the dems and still point out when something pisses me off about individual politicians and the party in general. Furthermore unlike the black and white republicans who never say a bad word about their own, I have always felt that I could acknowledge the good and bad in each individual and after adding it all up decide to support the candidate or not.

However at this moment if you don't fall in line and only give praise you must be kooky. When this election is over maybe we can go back to being free thinking liberals?

While I'm being frank I'll point out that I'm sure Obama will let me down by not pursuing the crimes of Bush and just "moving on" like Bill Clinton did with Iran Contra. Yes I know all about the promising Obama quotes that suggest I'm wrong. And I hope I am. But if I had to wager I would say we are not at the point yet where the dems have that much of a spine. Does that mean I don't support Obama? No. I can rattle off many positives about him off the top of my head. But the key issues to me are ones the democratic party for some reason will not address aggressively.

This woman just got the crowd chanting in spanish

they are saying "yes we can" in spanish. I think it was pretty cool.

How much do you want to bet the right wingers will go off on spanish and illegal immigration? Just remind them of the many times Bush has butchered spanish in public.

By f u bush2August 28, 2008 - 9:39pm

yes, it's the huddled masses yearning to be free not the absence of warrants that have them enraged.

It's far too close for me.

LMAO

What a great line! They just had a republican turned Obama supporter up there named Barney Smith. He spoke about the economy and loss of jobs. At one point he said: it's time t put Barney Smith before Smith Barney.

Who is the narrator of this video?

The video on Obama as a youth. I know the voice. I'm usually really good at identifying voices. But I can't get this one even though I recognize it.

I'm picturing Hufflarry screaming at Obama on the TV

"She got 200k more votes..." LOL I hope he has one of those medical alert systems in case he has a coronary.

Huff will be at President Obama's inauguration...

Obama strategy suggestion.

From now until November, Obama should go back to the largest venues he can manage when speaking publicly. After watching the convention tonight, it is impressive that one person can bring this large of a crowd just for speaking. It is important for this to continue to permeate the corporate media, so those less attentive will see how many fellow Americans are supporting Obama, regardless of the corporate media polls.

Let the Republicans and their fascist media network whine and cry to the hilt for all I care. There is one thing that we will have more than any fascist corporate oligarchy will ever have and that is numbers. Let's show them.

Disposable diaper saves toddler's life as he falls from third-floor window

Canadian Press: THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

SAO PAULO, Brazil - A disposable diaper has saved the life of an 18-month-old boy, breaking his fall from a third-floor apartment window in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Caua Felipe Massaneiro survived a 10-metre fall because his diaper snagged on a security spike embedded in the concrete wall around his apartment building.

A police officer says the boy dangled from the spike for a moment, then the diaper opened and the baby fell to the ground, but at a much slower speed.

I hadn't heard about that. Thanks for posting it.

I am so surprised!

Four days of Dem success in Denver. Speech after speech hitting every issue just right, followed by Obama completely re-framing the discussion in such a way, that when Crash calls him traitor he will just sound foolish.

All this and NO "Operation Chaos?" NONE of those Denver riots that Fatso and Weiner and Mikey Reegun called for? PLUS, all your good christian prayers for floods in downtown Denver, resulted in a beautiful summer evening for Obama's gutting of Crash?

What the fuck is WRONG with you wimps? Can't even get a good riot going? No balls. I still say we should outsource all our trolls to Singapore.

There's a troll that's been on Maddow's threads trying to act like a Clinton supporter. But it didn't take long for it to fall out of character and post like a right winger.

Never does!

I think it's safe to say that any "Hillary supporter for McBush" from here on, is a dittohead in Dem's clothing. Huff included, I'm beginning to think.

You don't have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them.
---Ray Bradbury

I agree with most of this,

but I still don't think Huff is a neotard. When we direct the usual clever, biting insults our own direction, that can sometimes leave a bad taste in your mouth for a while. Prior to the Dem primary, Huff always advocated for the right side of the fence, and even when supporting Hill, still had his heart in the right place.

I don't understand why some Democrats can't see the Clintons for what they really are, but I hope to see Huff back in the saddle soon. Between you, Jersey, Huff and Fubush, Guy and Michtou, I got my dose political comedic entertainment each evening before the Daily Show and Colbert. It will be good to have the team back.

Hey all. Covering a shift tomorrow, so Im gone despite

wishing otherwise. Be back late. If need be; Keep up on Steve Colbert cause I think idiots still take his jokey points and try to say that his show is a sign of "support for their idiology". Its sad, but there's some neocons out there who(and this could have something to do with believing in "magic apples and talking snakes as a foundation for morality", I could be wrong but I doubt it) dont know when entertainers are being satiric, or when they're using irony. Or more to the point, making fun of, and illuminating the idiosyncracies and rediculuousitoscity of their own Neoconetic mis-guided ludicris agendas in the performers parody!

Later all. Have a good'n weekend'n LaborDay'n. Tale it easy.

The G0P dopes praying for Gustav....

They truly want to delay their convention (even though they've had the cities extend the booze hours two hours a night), and get distance between the intellectual dynamism displayed in Denver and their broken down party.

It is always about the money.

By Kemo Sabe August 29, 2008 - 9:35am

Pushing it that much closer to September 11th, thereby allowing them to expolit it more than they already plan to, surely must be factored into the equation...
