Clinton's Derangement Syndrome

By Booman Tribune

by BooMan

It appears that Hillary Clinton is still running for president,
still delegitimizing the process, and still engaging in delusional
math. It's irresponsible for her to lead her supporters on like this.
It's irresponsible to raise false questions about the legitimacy of the
process. And it is just one more example of how she is making it harder
for the party to come together. She needs to let it go.

Yeah, and alcoholics "need"

Yeah, and alcoholics "need" to let go of alcohol, but that's their problem, and Hillary's problem is hers, while we have our own problems at our end of relationships with the alcoholics and clintonolics in our lives. One of our problems is that we confuse our own wants with the "needs" of those alcoholics and clintonolics.

Hillary Clinton doesn't need to let it go; we want her to let it go. But she's not doing that, and you and I have to deal with that.

We've got freaking beams in our eyes, can't you see them?

Why African-Americans should not vote for Barak Obama.

Someone asked me, a Christian black ex-sinner (a man who messed up in his youth), why aren’t you voting for Barak Obama? I simply told them that I didn’t believe in the man. They said, are you voting Republican then? I told them, I just might if Hillary Clinton doesn’t somehow get on board with him. Wow, they said! I told them, it came down to two things for me. The first one: Barak Obama reminds me too much of the Barak in Judges Chapter 4, a man who history gave the credit for winning a battle but a man who didn’t get the credit by God. By this I mean that Barak never wanted to run in the first place for the President of the United States of America, he heard about Hillary Clinton beginning to ponder on entering the race and he was convinced by those around him to enter into the race. A man that does not have God as his central guide should not be given a place of power. Every man, because that who the Presidents were, relied on God, the Word of God to guide this country. I believe the Bible is clear in Judges Chapter 4: in the absence of a qualified man, a qualified woman immediately must take the reigns; don’t elect an unqualified man into power because its just trouble.
The second thing that I said was, having a President who fears God is the most important thing to me in times like these. In this country we pride ourselves on religious tolerance, Christians accept non-Christians in this country because they wrote it in the Constitution of the United States; however, they wrote it in the Constitution because they knew that it took the power of God to accept others in their country. Let us take a lesson ahead of the election from 1st Samuel 8, the children of Israel set the path to their nation’s destruction by voting a man into power that possessed some great stature. They didn’t know he would be all about the power and bring them to a point of almost destruction. They thought he would rally them all together to fight their enemies. This man, Saul, was later found not to even respect the Word of God or the prophet of God. And although this very prophet had guided him spiritually through many problems in his elected life, a man that all people knew was anointed by God, Samuel the prophet, this man shrugged his noise up at him and did the opposite of what he said, what God said. Matthew 10: 40-41 in the New International Version of the Bible states it best:
He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives the one who sent me. Anyone who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and anyone who receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man will receive a righteous man's reward.
What’s the flip side of this? In all that we know in this country about the plight (trouble) of children of Israel, how can we inter-mix other religious ideas into our government now? Is Barak even going to church? Who will give Barak Obama the Word of God now, now that he has publicly shamed his own pastor? Will even our legendary Bill Graham be able to talk to him about the Word? Someone ask Pastor Graham what he thinks? Remember, if you are not getting the Word of God you are getting the word of human and the word of …
That’s my answer to you and to you that read these words. She’s been down and she’s been up but she has never forgotten God even when she sinned or had trouble in her life. We all fall short but we never talk about the Lord’s person when they are doing the Lord’s work. In the Old Testament many prophets and priest spoke out about the country, condemning it badly. Barak should of never spoke about Pastor Wright. He should of let the Lord our God deal with him if he is saying something wrong: Please read the difference in dealing with Pastors in Numbers 12, 22, and 20:11 – 13 & Deuteronomy 32: 48-52.
Barak this is for you:
Proverbs 1:1-7
The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel: 2 for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight; 3 for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair; 4 for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young- 5 let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance- 6 for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise. 7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
And Barak this what you have portrayed to our youth
For the sake of Martin Luther King, don’t elect Barak Obama the next President of the United States of America. African-Americans from the time of slavery have relied on God (when they accepted God) to get through their struggles. I believe Barak Obama thumbs his noise up at everything our ancestors struggled for in this life. How many Ministers, Pastors, and ordinary Christians prayed for better days to come and how many times over did God answer their prayers. It might have taken centuries to come to those days but he heard their cries and brought them into a better time like the children of Israel getting let into the land of milk and honey. If we elect Barak Obama as our next President, the dream of Martin Luther has not been accomplished because he never had a dream of destroying our faith to make that dream become a reality. I believe he never would of wanted the African-American people to see an African-American person rise to the top by separating himself from the very thing that caused him achieve equality, God. To me Barak Obama has set the stage for all to see: An African-American man may reach the top by denouncing God. If Obama is elected, many African-American women and men (especially the young black men who are going through a hard times now) will begin to believe that denouncing the very people that prayed for our doors to be open on equality can be disregarded because we have entered into a new era in our society. I say to you, “say no to Obama, yes to Clinton or its McCain” because such great a model of rejection cannot and should not be tolerated in African-American community or by the Christian people of the world.

god

opinions such as belief in a divine deity can neither be proven nor not proven. we are both atheists; our only difference is that i believe in one less god than you. that should not dictate our political choices. but if it does, then consider that mccain doesn't go to any chuch on any regular basis; nor does hillary clinton. barack obama used to go on a regular basis, but he no longer does. george bush grew up in the eastern (high) episcopal church, now calls himself a methodist which his bishop denies by commenting that whatever president bush is, he isn't a methodist.

Ever hear of the term:

Faith?
In America, a person is free to have Faith that there is a divine deity, while still exercising one's constitutional right of political expression, without restriction.

By naacprepMay 16, 2008 - 10:39pm

Complete & utter bullshit. Restriction is supposed to be exercised when one is behind a pulpit expecting their church to qualify for tax-exempt status while they're urging their "flock" to vote a certain way.

Btw, here's the Children's Guide to Religion that is so sorely needed in our paganistic public schools.

There is a reason this is the first amendment to the

CONSTITUTION: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech.

There are many Church's in the black community urging their "Flock" to vote for Obama. I see nothing wrong with that.

How long before you get your ass kicked out of here again,

hatemoron?

If a priest presumed to tell me who to vote for,

I would no longer be his parishioner, and I would report him to the diocese.

Fuck everything from The Crusades to The Divine Right of Kings to Avowedson to the vile state of Calvinism whose Dutch (Afrikaner) Reformed Church justified Old Testament Slavery in South Africa, fuck Theocracy.

If there is a God, He doesnt give a shit whether your team wins, whom you fuck, or who your president is. What a bunch of pinheads.

Every now and then, I think anyone who is deluded enough to believe God sucks Uncle Sam's cock should be castrated or fixed.

As President Kennedy said, because he was a

Catholic and had to disabuse people of the notion that he was controlled by the Vatican, that political issues are not spiritual matters.

Forty-eight years later, Mitt Romney had to profess that he was ready to suck any Christian minister's cock, not just a Catholic priest's, and that was his commitment to religious diversity and his country's heritage of religious freedom.

That is what happens when the marketplace of (political) ideas has become a whorehouse, and you get "leaders" who are prostitutes who have their asses up for anyone who can deliver money or votes or both, simply, a parliament of flag-waving cross-wielding masculine whores.

In America, a person is free to be an Atheist.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

You're a KOOK... Why should all of America be subject to YOU'RE PERSONAL BELIEFS?

Ha!!!

Good Luck With That!
... (I got got fifty bucks says this jackass is white as the driven snow.)

Fuck that shit.

I am so sick of born-again Christian assholes with a flag in one hand, a gun in the other, a pair of underpants on that says "He will rise again", and their dicks in the Coke machine.

I don't give a fuck what religion you are. Bush and McCain have faiths of total convenience, and one of them is a mass murderer, and the other wants another 100 years of crusading.

Fuck them both, and fuck you, you fucking idiot.

Do you feel the same way about Buddhism, Judaism

Islam, Hinduism, Chinese folk religion, Confucianism, Taoism, Sikhism, Jainism, Protestantism, Oriental Orthodoxy, Shaivism, Vaishnavism, Shaktism, Smartism.

Or do you just hate Christians?
You seem to be a might deranged.

How do you feel about Obama? He is a devout Christian, you know.

hatey's idiocy is always displayed by his habit of taking a key word or sentence from someone's post and completely missing the meaning which leads him to ask the most unrelated questions imaginable.

And then he gets all butt-hurt when we slam him for it.

I was born at night not last night

That's funny there is no reason for Clinton to drop out of the race, She is going to be the next president of the united states. Just look at the states she won and the states that obama has won.To her credit she will even win more states. Just because the media and a lot of blogs are against her for someone to say drop out .Dose not make it so. Yes i know that obama supporters are trying to throw some propaganda out there and telling Clinton supporters that Clinton loss and its time to throw your full support for obama , sorry not falling for it
And could someone tell obama how many states we have. Heres a hint its not 57

I completely agree

It is not over yet. There are still primaries left. Hillary has won half the votes in the primaries and is a force in the party.

I'm glad they support Hillary

old school

Two bulls one young and the other one old school. They see a herd of cows down below the hill. The young one says ,lets run down there and screw one of the cows. The old school bulls says lets walk , and screw them all.The moral of the story is that the obama supporters are in a rush to get obama nominated , while the clinton supporters who have voted already are sittig back , knowing that clinton will be the next President of the UNITED STATES.

Old analogy.

No ones in any rush to "get" Obama nominated. We just see it as inevitable. He has won more delegates, won more of the popular votes, and now has more super delegate votes. How do you expect Hillary to overcome these obstacles?

Please don't start up with Florida and Michigan. If party rules are followed, you loose the argument, if they aren't followed, then your cheating. Only if there is a re-vote, will your argument carry any weight, though not much, as Obama will carry both states, in my opinion.

you are in a rush

Clinton was the only candidate that believes in one America . She was against Michigan's and Florida 2 million votes not to be counted. Obama knew he could not win in those states. Dodd,Richardson and Biden couldn't raise money so early to campaign in those States. Edwards far behind Clinton and obama was for Michigan as long as they were a caucus but once he found out they were going to go as a primary he went against Michigan, And why was Nevada,New Hampshire and South Carolina able to break party rules by voting before Feb 5? And why were you against super delegates before you were for them?

By getmad54 May 17, 2008 - 10:00am

America_andGod

Your words are well thought out and very well articulated, though I do not agree with them. Obama's rejection of Reverand Wright is more a political move than a religious one. As a black man, you speak of the black religious experience as separate from the black political experience, when historicaly, they are very much intertwined, much to the dismay of white america. The rejection of the Wright model of spirituality, with all its political rhetoric, frees Obama to seek a more spiritual basis for his finding God within himself. In other words, he is now free to be more mainstream in is spiritual beliefs.

By naacprepMay 16, 2008 - 10:07pm

There are two bad perceptions of Obama as a result of his intertwined relationship with Wright.

1) He idolized Wright when it was cool too

2) He threw him under the train when it was cool too

See how unstable Mr. Obama is?

He never idolized Wright,

He never idolized Wright, and he didn't throw him under the train. Are you a drama queen? You seem prone to over exaggeration.

cool "too"??... "TOO"??

Guess what... you lost... you just don't know it yet.

Hell, even Hillary knows it.

Get with the program, psycho... We have a White House to win.

If that bullshit didn't sell in the special elections IN MISSISSIPPI... IT WON'T SELL ANYWHERE.

Stop thinking about your pride and start thinking about winning.

How is that being "unstable"?

Obama is a politician. Wright became a liability. instead of an asset. As the future PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES, Obama has to represent all American's, not just the few who hold the Wright view of things.

Instead of being unstable, I find it very astute, on Obama's part.

Yawn.

My guess is that Obama's WW2 vet caucasian grandfather and caucasian grandmother that reared him as a Christian in Kansas had alot more of an influence on Obama than a church preacher.

Obama is 50% caucasian reared with caucasian, Christian values in the middle of America. His black father disowned him before he had an opportunity to influence him to any significant degree.

If you think that neocon values have anything to do with American values, I have some swamp land to sell you in Antarctica. If we continue with neocon values, I will have swamp land to sell you in Antarctica.

This election is about returning our government to the people. You kind has tried their best to ruin America and I guarantee those "values" will not be represented.

Your facts are wrong.

He was raised in Hawaii and Indonesia. He was raised in a non-religeous home, as was his mother. His father was an atheist, as was his step-father. He attributes his connection to the "black church", as an organizer, for his religeous and social perspective, having discovered the power of the "African American religeous tradition, while attending Trinity. Maybe if you had ever read his book, The Audacity of Hope, you would know this.

What are these American values you speak of? How do they differ from the neocon values? Do they have anything to do with ones belief in GOD? Or are they just differance's of opinion as to political and social responsibility?

Empty rhetoric will not help to bring CHANGE!!!! That's the promise of Obama. Get on board with the message, or get left behind.

How do they differ from neocon values?

True Americans do not use the constitution as toilet paper, they do not start wars based on lies, they do not torture, they do not commit war crimes, they do not steal elections, they do not raid the treasurey for personal gain and they do not steal welfare. Then again, you are not a true American. You are a fascist collaborator who is guilty of war crimes and terrorism.

hatey's back... Hi Dummy!

By othelloMay 17, 2008 - 10:00am

LOL

It is indeed hatey. And he's having an internal conflict of personality. He's been programmed to believe the right wing rhetoric and to spout their talking points. But now I think that he actually supports Obama.

He's probably hoping Obama wins and leaves the democratic party that wants to "enslave" him.

r quite possibly he's hoping the Hillary supporters get their wish and steal the nomination from Obama so he can tell us its another example of the democrats trying to hold down the black man. Well if that happens he'll be partially correct. There won't be much to say about the blue dog democrats. But he'll still be wrong about the majority of dems that voted fro Obama, and wrong about liberals.

"Obama wins and leaves the

democratic party that wants to "enslave" him."

For hatemoron, that means Obama's like Moses, he's leading them off the "liberal plantation" to the "promised land" ... and I'm not quite sure where that is. Perhaps before he has one of his meltdowns and gets kicked off again, hatey will let us know.

Good News: Obama will publicly declare victory next week

Just two more states.

Obama Memo: 17 Pledged Delegates Away From Winning Primaries
Eric Kleefeld
May 16, 2008 10:00 AM

In a sign that they are likely to declare victory in the presidential primary very soon, the Obama campaign is now boasting in a memo to reporters that they are on the cusp of winning the pledged-delegate majority, thanks to the endorsement from John Edwards and a group of his delegates.

By the Obama campaign's math, they are only 17 elected delegates away from the pledged-del majority, a number that they are guaranteed to pull off next week in Oregon and Kentucky. Expect them to court super-delegates to break their way en masse after that happens, on the basis that Obama has the popular mandate to be the nominee.

Wait until he does so and Clinton goes into a fit. This should be good entertainment. Get the popcorn.

Yeah, whatever.

Good Luck With That.

They will try

it will be about as successful as it was last week in Mississippi.

That's funny, hatemoron

But I'm sure the Obama camp has infinitely more important things to do. But, if thinking that is what helps you sleep at night, go for it.
