Senate Race Roundup

Minnesota
Republican incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman who is in a close race with Democrat Al Franken for the senate will begin the recounting process this Wednesday, meaning we probably won’t know the outcome of this race until December. Unofficial results show Coleman leading by 206 votes.
Alaska
Republican incumbent and convicted felon Senator Ted Stevens seems to be on his way out of the senate after Anchorage Mayor and senate challenger, Mark Begich extended his lead to 1,022 votes on Friday. With about 300,000 votes counted, Begich now leads Stevens 138,959 votes to 137,937 votes. On Tuesday, the 25,000 remaining votes will be counted. The majority of them come from the Anchorage area; a Begich stronghold.
Georgia
Republican incumbent Sen. Saxby Chambliss failed to pass the 50 percent threshold and faces a December 2 runoff with Democrat Jim Martin.

Me too, but like I said last weekend, I think that if we don't get it, there are several republican seats up for election in 2010.....we might get a bit better behavior from those seats than we're accustomed to seeing.
Even our blue dogs might grow a set.
[one can hope....]

By roadgoddessNovember 17, 2008 - 10:26pmI hear that
they just found another 207 ballots (for Al, of course) in the trunk of the election manager's car. The addresses include the 50-yard line at Ford Field, Mid-court at The Palace of Auburn Hills, and a ton of them 100 feet under Lake Michigan.
These are perfectly legitimate votes that must be counted! The unemployed SNL/AAR washout needs employment!

By nonexistent manNovember 17, 2008 - 4:41pmSorry there Jonnie,
Smoking a PEACE PIPE is an honor wich you do not diserve in this life or anyother. Infact most of the republican party as a whole does not diserve this honor. Next time Jonnie say something that everyone can understand or say nothing at all.
