Or McSame's POW status? It's OKAY that she has no national or foreign policy experience, because she was in a plane that touched down in Shannon Ireland on the way to Germany. Seems to me that Hillary got excoriated for saying that she landed somewhere under a set of untrue conditions; why doesn't the MSM or the repugs excoriate Caribou Barbie equally?

Well Florida has two time zones: Eastern and Central. Upon hearing this voters in the Central Time Zone left. Consider that there is a military base in the Central Time Zone section of Florida. Now take into account that people in the military mainly vote Republican. Amazing how that happens with the loyalist of Americans. How many votes did that cost Bush?

It's also interesting to see the repubs fawning over McCain's military record now, such a change from 2000 when many of those same republicans were smearing it, using the same swiftboat tactics (and people) used against Kerry in 2004, not to mention the attacks on McCain's wife and adopted child, and implying that McCain was insane.

I remember listening to that great conservative drug addict Rush Limbaugh back then, talking about McCain while playing dialog in the background of Humphrey Bogart from the film The Caine Mutiny, where Bogart is a Naval officer who loses his mind, and is in court on the witness stand babbling about "strawberries in the ice box"- that was real class for Mr. Limbaugh.
