Some Democrats were also concerned about the Obama-O’Reilly exchange on Iraq. “Instead of presenting a clear definition of how he will realize the promise of change after eight failed years of George Bush, [Obama] blurred the distinction between himself and John McCain on Iraq,” lamented a former aide to Chris Dodd, who thrilled liberal Fox critics in a more combative exchange with O’Reilly during the Democratic primary last year.

“He gave up his greatest strength - opposition to the Iraq War - on O’Reilly’s show,” the operative continued. “If Obama’s lucky, he gained enough new Fox-watching supporters to make up for the Democrats he just alienated.” [...]

Robert Greenwald [...] emailed a new video to supporters today. In it, he criticized Fox’s unbalanced treatment of Democratic politicians:

O’Reilly needled and interrupted Obama, trying to get him to simplify many of his answers — a far cry from the softballs O’Reilly lobbed at many prominent Republicans like Rudy Giuliani in the past.

Worst person ever

It just seemed like Bill was being disrespectful. That's the way he is with everyone. He is loud. He talks over his "guests" (or victims). He doesn't listen or think.

I would much rather hear Bill talk about his sex scandal. I want to know how much he had to pay that women. She said because of the court agreement, she couldn't say, but she never had to work again.

And that boy he talked about. The one who was kidnapped and after being raped, when his captor was strangling him, he promised to be a sex slave if the guy would let him live. So the kid, knowing the guy knew where his family was didn't try to escape. For four years he didn't try. Then the rapist brought another boy home. THEN he escaped. He couldn't let this happen to another child.

SO WHAT DOES BILL SAY???? He said the kid liked it. He didn't have to go to school. The kid was having the time of his life. The parents of the child, who were so happy to find out their son was alive, demanded an apology. Bill said, "It's over." He said he wasn't going to talk about it anymore and that's it. Never an apology. He is one horrid man.

Bill is a Republican

So tell me. Which part is wrong? I followed Bill's sex scandal from beginning to end.

Normally that kind of stuff has no interest for me, but because Bill describes himself as a "culture warrior", that developed my interest.

Let's see, she was an assistant who he harassed for sex. She asked him to stop and he wouldn't. She complained to management and they ignored her. Finally, they began to threaten HER. That was when she took them to court. Bill called her an extortionist ON HIS SHOW, he maligned here character over and over again.

Unfortunately for Bill, he left here PHONE MESSAGES. Isn't that a hoot? One was "leaked" to the Internet. Bill, "Let's just go rent a hotel room and get this over with". Biiiiill, he always was such a sweet talker.

It seems she had lots and lots of those "snippets".

He couldn't settle fast enough. And in his own way, his own "moral Culture Warrior" way, he said, "I'm NOT going to talk about this anymore".

The story about the boy is absolutely true.

We've been through all of this with that dipshit before.

I actually used to work with the kidnapper when I was a teenager. O'Really's statements were indefensible. He was supposed to speak at a Center for Missing & Exploited Children conference a month or so later. My former co-workers & I were central in the successful effort to get his appearance canceled.

Get a Grip

I saw both Obama interviews last night (Olbermann's and O'Reilly's). "Bill-0 the Clown" won hands down - No question about it. When is MSNBC going to stop "kissin' up" to their preferred candidates and ask ALL contenders the tough questions that need answering? That would be "Fair and Balanced". O'Reilly was definitely in his usual form, but Obama stood up very well. THAT was an interview for the books. Olbermann, I wish there were some nice way to critique your interview, but there isn't. You Sucked. What show were the rest of you watching???
