I ask a question and make two points with the answer.
What if the cost was 54,000,000 instead of 54,000 of taxpayer money?
IS there a limit?
Maybe the English system is NOT determining the worth of 6 months of life, but using a criteria that is based on keeping the system afloat so they can help more people and not break the system with one patient.
Also this case is giving 6 MORE months than he is already projected to live. It does not say he will die tomorrow without the medicine. He still has time to reflect on life and make peace.
