Bob Barr on The Lionel Show!

By The Lionel Show

Bob Barr is a different kind of politician, and he wants your vote.

But does he have children? Lionel will pursue such hard-hitting angles when Mr. Barr joins him on Radio Row at the top of the third hour.

The Lionel Show: raising the Barr, evra-buddeh!!!

Wow! This is REALLY Scraping The Bottom...

I don't know who's the bigger bottom feeder here? That desperate traitor, Barr, for appearing on Lionel's show? ( Who else would have him?) Or Lionel for having him? (Who else would appear on this show?)

The most interesting aspect of this exchange is no acknowledgment whatsoever from Lionel of his own libertarian roots. Back in his maverick days on WABC, Lionel was the fair-minded libertarian among republicans. Failing to resonate and find an audience, he quickly changed his schtick to the far-left pinko talk that he serves up across the rapidly diminishing airwaves of Air America. Why did Lionel hide his libertarian origins from Barr? Not liberal enough for the leftist audience Lionel now hopes to cultivate.

BrentCraig predicts... Lionels next stop? WBAI! New Yorkers will understand what BrentCraig is talking about.

Brent - Have you wrapped

Brent -

Have you wrapped your head around the Obama post yet?

Take Tylenol for any headaches, Mytol for any cramps.

Ummm...Okkaayyyy...

Well, THAT was an intelligent come-back. No denials though! Hmmm... Point...CRAIG!

That wasn't a "come-back",

That wasn't a "come-back", Brent. I'm genuinely concerned about your ability to tell the difference between realities and fabrications.

For many reasons.

Hey Brent, you up to speed on the whole real-fake thing yet?

The Jaco Pastorius Experience

Lionel hasn't really changed

I've been listening to Lionel since the WFLA days when he was a caller. His views haven't changed that much. He's a little more vehemently anti-Republican now, but that's because the Republican party has changed since the social conservatives took control in the 90s. He still sounds pretty libertarian to me most of the time.

Now why Bob Barr was accepted under the Libertarian banner is truly a mystery to me. I have voted Libertarian for many election cycles, but I could never vote for Barr.
