Pastor Pickett and filmmakers Steve James and Peter Gilbert join Lionel at 10 A.M. to discuss their film and the Pastor’s epiphanies regarding his life’s work.

A funny thing happened while Bush was at the Knesset…He compared Obama to a Nazi appeaser. Of course, the comparison is ill-conceived, the quotation in question was taken out of context, and the REPUBLICAN “appeaser” Bush compares Obama to was hardly an appeaser at all. None of this matters however – this’ll be smeared all over your TVs for weeks to come. And you wonder why Dermott shuns television.  

IN THE MÉLANGE

Chris Matthews tore into Conservative talking head Kevin James on Hardball last night. Unable to articulate his argument to the apoplectic Hardball host, Mr. James was reduced to impotently repeating the word “appeasement” as he disintegrated before a national TV audience. Can we hope to see a similar disintegration across the board in the world of Conservative talk? Cross your fingers.

California allows gay marriage – Dermott and Doobie couldn’t be happier. This also explains Al’s recent trip to “Hungary” – how’s the weather in San Fran, Al?
