The above is true. I was laid off the day GWB was made "official."
I got a response from a friend, Russ Brown, to this that I think in two sentences sums up the "surge."
I cringe everytime McCain/Palin claim the surge worked or is working. For a "surge" of $10 Billion/month I'm sure you could get a lot of things to "work", but the least of which would be ending Iraqi sectarian violence. There was zero surge in Anbar province and that's where it started "working."

It is not guilt by association. It is, rather, character by association. What he does, his work, and who he associates with reveals one's character. It's about Obama's character. Somebody had to do the job that the MSM is not. And its better late than never as far as I'm concerned.
