Love the interview with James Bamford, but he made the claim that the warrentless wiretapping began after 9/11, I wish someone would ask him to comment on Qwest CEO Joseph P. Nacchio's testimony that his company was approached by the Bushies in February of 2001.

Ron-- I appreciated you asking what we would sacrifice for a guarantee of security. My understanding is that both Hitler and Saddam offered a guarantee of security, at least for those who supported them unconditionally.
